Roofing Portal

I recently booked the Roofing Portal to replace my parents' rusty and leaking old metal sunroom roof with a new Colorbond roof. Luke and the team were punctual, professional and very easy to work with and did a fantastic job with the replacement/install. This has given my parents much-needed peace of mind. I have no hesitation in recommending the Roofing Portal's services.

This is a genuine 1 star situation as virtually every meaningful touch point so far has simply been a non delivery of committed actions. We haven't even gotten to the quote stage yet! After confirming a weekday inspection requiring me to coordinate with work to be available on site (as required), noone turned up at the said time and I had no contact to manage expectations. The given phone number didn't answer and 30 mins after the said time, an email reply came simply affirming that someone had been booked? Naturally after 30 mins and no explanation or sign of someone coming , I left. Got a call 20 mins later blaming staffing issues and offering someone to come 40 mins from that point. As my day had already been affected and I was nearby, I accepted. Someone turned up and did the inspection, and at the end explained it would take about a week to get a quote. Almost 2 weeks later, and 2 email follow ups (for the quote) , absolutely nothing. This abject series of failures at the most basic level before any work has commenced, is a distinct red flag on the legitimacy of the glowing reviews these guys have on their Google profile. Beware. Edit 1 : 1st October after Roofing Portal's reply. Once again, a glaring example of the deceptive nature of this company and focus on preserving their obvious fake review rating. Upon inspection and during it, no mention whatsoever was made of the leaf debris in the gutters being associated to the leaks, especially as the leaks were several metres from the nearest gutter. Specifically, the inspecting agent cited an airconditioning unit directly over the leaking area. 2 other areas, also very far from the earest gutter, were cited with other issues to do with previous work that supposedly hadn't been done properly - and in the other, worn features of the tiles. The fact that this company has taken near 2 weeks to reply, and done so with an absolute fabrication of the facts, is a further damning reflection in their lack of integrity or service ethic. Further, the fact hasn't bothered addressing the second of two glaring failures, being the inability to send a promised quote, and completely ignoring 2 follow ups chasing the quote renders it disengenuous at best. The reviews and videos are a trap by a company that cannot be trusted.

Geoff is the guru! I had 4 reputable roofing companies quote and Geoff had the most knowledge, best communication and was the most proactive in finding solutions to 2 tricky leaks. He did the quoting, but also did a large part of the custom flashing himself with great attention to detail and was focussed on doing a great job - not on how long it took - it was a refreshing experience. Highly recommended.

After getting quotes from 2 other roofing companies, we engaged the Roofing Portal to replace our leaky old tile roof with a new Colorbond version. Jack's appraisal was accurate and the quote competitive The team onsite were quick and efficient- all done in a couple of days. The site was left clean and tidy- including little things like a final check of the driveway for tyre-killing lost screws Thanks to all the guys involved- Jack, Geoff, Mason, Huey and the rest of the team- job well done Tim & Katherine, Bexley

I found this company through their YouTube channel and after watching some of the videos decided to get an inspection. Geoff explained what repairs were urgent and what could wait a while to save on repair costs. Repairs were completed in 3 days and Luke and his team were great and easy to work with. Worth taking them up on a free inspection.
